About this objectA Leave Pass, issued by the 2nd Battalion, Otago Regiment, Cologne. The pass is made out to a 'Runner' (= messenger) to be absent from his Quarters on duty in Cologne from 0800 hours until 2100 hours on an unspecified date, presumably in 1919 when the Regiment was part of the Allied Forces occupying the Rhineland.
